Adams Family Adventures Day 3--Independence Day

It is the 4th of July! Happy Independence day! We started off the morning walking down to breakfast and the parade!

This picture turned out blurry, but I loved how it looked with the three of them walking down the street in matching outfits!  The guys had blue flag shirts and the girls had red flag shirts.

This is at one of our favorite resteraunts called Ramblin Roads

Addy started off not being too sure about the parade because of all the sirens

But then she started to warm up

She was excited about the candy

She even started to wave to the people in the parade

This is her friend Aly.  She is our friends TJ and Vicki's neice.

We went up swimming with them at TJ's parents pool:) Addy had a fun time with Aly:)

Jason doing some cool jumps off the diving board!

Later we had a BBQ with the fam...and Carl...who is also considered fam:)

Carl made this awesome dessert!  Yes that is White chocolate strawberries! This is his Red, White and Blueberry pie!  It was delicious!

After we walked to the city fireworks!

I was having a hard time getting us all in the shot.

I think Sam gave up with all my tries!

Happy 4th Everyone! I am grateful to live in America and for those who fight for our freedom!

DaY 2 oF oUr AdaMs fAm AdVenTureS!---A SpeCtAcULar SuNdAy!

Day 2 of our family here!  It started out with us going to our friends baby blessing. It was great to be able to see them and their baby is so adorable:)
After that the fam headed up through the canyon to see the beautiful scenery!  Addy decided to take some fun pictures of herself on the way up..so I thought i'd share those:)

My Grandma Jensen is buried in the cemetery in Liberty so we made a stop there.  Sadly the sprinklers were on everywhere in the cemetary!

Our brother Sam has some more pics of me dodging the sprinklers on his cam, but here is the one we got on ours:)  I actually didn't get as wet as I thought I would.  It was sad I didn't get to stay there long because of the whole sprinkler situation, but it was nice to be there.

After we went to the cemetary where Sam and Jasons Mom is buried.

Here is Addy also putting a flower on her Grandpa Richard's Grave.  It is a precious picture:)

We went and had dinner with my parents. In case you are wondering if we drove all the way to St. George...My parents still live in the basement of their house here part time until my Dad retires and they can be in St. George full time. They do have buyers for their house here that live upstairs.

Addy's cousin Parker came to visit for a while.

Playing Games!

Chris got a new little buddy:)

My Mom had a cookie monster puzzle that she still had from when we were kids.  She brought it out to let Addy and Parker play with it, but the adults got in on the fun to see how fast we could do it.

Here is Addy trying to take over Grandpas turn!

I think Addy could put it together faster than me!...Maybe she should have helped me instead of her Grandpa.

On the way home Addy asked me if she could stay up a little while...I did say yes, but I guess her little eyes were too tired to stay open:)  We had a fun and relaxing day!

The Adams Family Adventures in Utah Day 1!

Today we had family fly in from Massachusetts.  Jason's Brother Sam and his son Chris will be staying with us for a week.  This marks day one of our fun adventures together!
Our Friend Carl has a BBQ and fireworks show every year.  It was cool that we got to have Sam and Chris here for it this year.  Also, some of my fam came to it as well:)
Jason showing Addy that the tire swing isn't scary...also I think he really just wanted to swing on it!
Chris and Jason
My Parents, Cody and Erin

Addy with some friends having an awesome time:)
I asked Addy to take this pic of us.  She took it and said "Cute" then set the camera on the sidewalk and walked away to be with her friends:)

I tried to get the fireworks in the background of our friends, but it was more smoke that showed up instead of fireworks.  It was their daughters first firework show!

And of course what day is complete without a good ol game of nerf gun fights:)
Stay tuned the rest of the week for more Adams Family Adventures!

Great in Two Ways!

A couple weekends ago we took a trip to visit my Grandparents in Idaho...Addy's Great Grandparents who also happen to be great!

The first day after we got there we went to dinner with them at Texas Roadhouse:)  We then decided to go to the play "Wizard of Oz".  Addy loved it...besides the wicked witch of the west, but by the end she liked her too! The good witch gave her a kiss on the cheek during intermission.  They give kisses if you buy concessions...I wonder if Jason was dissapointed he didn't get a kiss:) lol

Here is Addy on the way up to the play.  She was watching Cars and loving that Grandpa has a TV in his car.

Her with her Great Grandpa...He gave her that cute hat:)

Me and Gramps:)

Our Grandma Donna had one of her grandkids at their house at the same time so our Grandpa got us a hotel near by to stay at.  It was fun going swimming in the morning the next day before we started day 2's adventures:)

We went to a Farmers Market that day.

Grandma Donna bought Addy a cute butterfly hairbow:) Addy helped pick out a few more colors for Donna to give to some of her other great granddaughters:)

Waiting in line for a Balloon Animal

Addy loved her balloon animal.  She picked a kitty and named it boo because that is Grandma and Grandpa's kitty's name.

After that we went to a Bday party for Grandma Donna's Great Granddaughter.

Addy met some new friends and had a great time with this cute little redhead. Addy cried when she had to leave her.

We left the next day for home.  It was a great trip full of fun adventures:)

These boots are so fun!  My Mom, Erin, Addy and I were out shopping.  After I had to leave for work they were at Childrens Place and found these boots for 5 bucks!  They called and asked me if I wanted some for Addy and in the mean time found some that fit me! Yes, I am now the proud owner of boots from Childrens Place:) he he.  Its fun to have twinner boots with Addy!
