aLL cAuGhT uP and CaTcHiNg fLiGhTs!

Well we are now all caught up on our fun Adams Family Adventures!  We have had an awesome time with family and are so grateful they were able to come!  Hopefully someday we wont live so far away from each other so that we can see one another more often.  Dan bought a web cam for Addy so her and Lauren can use it to see eachother more:)

Thank you for coming out you guys!  WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU ALREADY!!!!

Snake, Rattle and RUN!!!!

We went for a hike on Tuesday:

Erin was in charge of carrying this bag which she made into her back pack:)

Rattlesnake!!!!
Addy had been with my parents still the past couple days because she rode in their car to St George and they came home Tuesday.  She was excited to see her new Cookie Monster hat that I had won from a giveaway.  The website of the girl who makes them is girlinair.blogspot.com.  I loved all of them, but I picked cookie monster because Addy has more cookie monster clothes than others.

That night we went to Famous Daves for dinner and Baskin Robbins for some ice cream!

IKEA...yeah I probably could have come up with a more creative title:)

Monday we spent the day at IKEA!!!! My sis Erin came with us too!  We love that store!  We ate at the IKEA restaurant for dinner!  It is very good and inexpensive.  I think I speak for all of us there when I tell you that you should try it:) Jason got to have his favorite drink when we go there:
(The drink to the right) Lingonberry!

and we got a few fun things for the house!

That night we played Bohnanza and went for a walk!  Sorry we were slacking on pictures that day!

10 eyes...and a vampire miss piggy too!

Sunday after dinner with my parents we headed home.  Here are some fun pictures of the ride home:)

Funny sign
These pics are when we were having fun with Laurens playdough
Playdough fingernail polish
The prongs were being replaced on my wedding ring so I wore another ring on that finger.
When we got back Monday Jason and Dan picked up the ring for me and the store put it in a new ring box so he pretended to propose again:) It was cute...and incase you are wondering I said yes:)
We were laughing so hard.  We would trade turns drawing a part of he face.  Ha ha!
Dan putting up with a lot from us.  I wish we could have gotten a pic of  the looks from the drivers next to us!
When we got home we relaxed, the guys watched sports and the girls went on a walk and did some fun girly things like paraffin wax:)

Grease lightning!..but Elvis..not John Travolta:)

The family left today which was totally sad:( What is also sad is that i've been slacking on keeping you posted of our fun adventures of the blog.  Must be because I was spending the time having too much fun with the fam:)

Anyway, where I left off:  On Saturday we were back in St. George and we spent the day relaxing.  The whole gang including my parents drove to Mesquite to eat at one of their buffets.  It was Elvis week or something and one of them came up to Lauren while he was singing and kissed her on the cheek.
Then we did a little shopping and headed back to the house.
The girls went for a walk and decided to hurry home because the lightening was looking like it was getting close!

Vegas Day 2: What happens in Vegas literally stays in Vegas:)

In the morning on Friday we went to a Cuban Restaurant for breakfast.  It was really good!!
While walking the strip we saw a ton of characters like Mickey, Woody and Buzz, Hello Kitty and Sponge Bob Characters...  There was this guy who told Sponge Bob he would give him 20 bucks if he would let him kick him.  Unfortunatly we were walking past so we weren't able to see the outcome.

We went to M&M world
Jackie and Lauren
Then we went to Harley Davidson for Lunch
This flag was made out of chains.  It was awesome!!!

After we went to the Premium Outlets on our way out of town.  It was pretty late when we were headed back to St. George and the freeway enterance was closed!!!  So we had a hard time leaving and were wandering around for a while.  Even people at the gas stations we stopped at gave us bum directions. ...so what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...Literally.  Luckily my Dad helped us over the phone figure it out!!

Vegas Day 1: The wheels on the bus...do nothing!

On Thursday Addy stayed with my parents and the rest of us headed to Las Vegas.

Dan, Jackie and Lauren setting foot in Arizona
After we drove up and down the strip we went and got checked into our hotel
Then we walked around and watched a circus act.
We then decided to get a bus pass because it was only 7 dollars each for 24 hours and then we wouldn't have to worry about parking. Our goal was to get to the outlets.

Hours to get from St. George to Las Vegas=2
Hours to get from Circus Circus to the outlets on the other end of the strip=2!!!!

When we found the right bus to get on...it broke down..this was after a lot of walking...when we waited a lonnnggg time for the next bus to come....it wasn't going anywhere either...(i think they found a scratch on the bus)..really

Here are the new verses to the Wheels on the Bus:

The Wheels on the bus don't go anywhere
The Driver on the bus says get off the bus
ALL the People on the bus go Waa waa waa
Then we walk ALL through the town

(Atleast the wipers on the bus still go swish swish swish...I'm sure if they didn't though we would have had another bus to get off!)

Here we are happy to finally be on a moving bus

We finally made it to the outlets and by the time we made it back to the Bellagio to eat at the buffett, it was going to be closing in 15 min.  So we went to the cafe there instead.

Inside the Bellagio:
Outside the Belagio:
Then we headed back to the hotel to sleep after a long day.
Before I fell asleep I BeDazzled my phone:) lol
I bought them because Jackie just bought some glasses and a jewel fell out so we replaced it...Might as well use the left overs right? Notice how many times I must have dropped my phone:) ha ha

Oh and Dan, This picture is for you:

Never point out a pink elephant that is behind a heavier woman who is wearing pink...She might think you are talking about her.
