Snoozing Doesn't Always Mean Losing:)

Today has been a great day!!!  More family came to visit us and are staying until the 11th of August...so you will be getting nightly updates again with our fun adventures:)

We picked Dan, Jackie and Lauren up from the airport just before noon.  Afterwards we headed for lunch at Fazoli's!  Then we headed for home.  Most of the day we just relaxed and a few of us even took naps, but it wasn't the kids that took naps it was some of us adults:)  It was needed though because we all went to sleep pretty late last night and they had to be to the airport super early this morning...thats where the title of this post came from because it was nice to snooze because we needed it before our upcoming busy fun days!

Here is Lauren and Addy having fun painting...
After dinner we went to get ice cream at Farrs...

Addy went to give Uncle Dan ice cream kisses (her face was covered) and he took them willingly:)
and he gave her some in return only his face wasn't covered in ice cream.
we wanted to take the ice cream to the park to eat it, but it started to rain super hard.  The outcome though was this beautiful double rainbow...
Then tonight we came home and relaxed and played the card game "Pounce".  We taught them how to play and they caught on really quick!!!

We have had a fun day and are so excited to spend the next several days with our family!

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow...

Today, which is really yesterday (because it's after midnight yet I haven't gone to bed yet), is my mom's bday!  My Dad's Bday is on the 1st...So they have a 3 day celebration!
Aren't they so cute??:)
I just wanted to tell them...
I love you guys so much and appreciate all you do for others!  You are such great examples!
Thanks for being the presidents of the
Love, Ashley

P.S

On another topic!!!! We have more family coming to visit tomorrow!!!...which is really today!

Bow Making:)

Recently I decided I wanted to make some new hair bows for Addy.
I made her some little Cinderella ones for when we go to Disney Land.
For Halloween, Addy wants to be the Pink Care Bear...Cheer Bear (the one with the rainbow on its tummy)  Also that is what kind of bday she wants.  I made this bow for her to wear on her bday and with her Care Bear costume.  Last year she was a penguin and I put bows in her hair and it was so cute so I wanted to do something like that with he Care Bear costume.
These ones were so fun to make.  The funny thing is that whenever I made one they would look totally different.  Ex. The purple petals faced upwards and the blue ones faced down.
Here is the one I made Lexie
I made this bow for Disney Land also.
Anyway, just wanted to share some of what I have been doing lately.  Its been a lot of fun...and Addys hair is getting so long now and needing some cute bows:)

Bye, But NOT "Good"bye

Well, our brother and nephew have been gone for about a week now:(  Addy didn't believe me when they left.  She didn't get to say goodbye to them because they left super early in the morning.  When she woke up she kept telling me that they were sleeping in her room.  I took her to show her and she stood in the doorway for a minute looking sad and then said, "Oh" in a yeah you are right type voice.  The night before when we were telling her that they were going to have to leave, she said she was going with them and that Chris said she could go in his suitcase:)  Even now she mentions them and how she wants them to come again.  We have more family coming to visit us in a couple of weeks!

Planes, Trains and Automobiles...and Rocket ships:)... but not in that order

PLANES
The day started out at the:
Sadly the group shot didn't work out so well
Next on the agenda?:
Rocket Ships

We didn't cooperate very well when Jason was telling us to do an EVIL face:)
There was another pic where I attempted (key word attempted), but I went with this one!

TRAINS
well sort of...it was actually dinner here:
located here
but that works eh'?
She has a grape in her cheek:)
Rodizio is a Brazillian resteraunt where they bring a variety of meats around to your table to try and they keep coming with more unless you have the thing on the table turned to the red side.  It was very filling and really good!  Also, there is a salad bar for the rest of the meal.
We even ate:
CHICKEN HEARTS!!!

Automobiles
We drove home...LOL

Chillin' then Blazin'

This morning was more of a relax day.  We hung out at home during the morning and I babysat my cousins kids:) During the afternoon Jason took Sam, Chris and Addy to the comic book store and Addy was so excited to get her first comic book:)  Then they ran some grocery errands with the coupons I sent them with...The Cinnimon Toast Crunch is calling my name and it isn't even breakfast yet!  They were teasing me that they didn't take pictures of either store for me to blog with:)...but they brought me back ice cream from Artic Circle and some Nutty Bars so I forgave them...LOL

Then tonight (well last night since it is early A.M right now) we went to the Utah Blaze game, which is indoor football.
This is Big Budah from FOX 13 News!
Addy was like this for the first half of the game.  She isn't sleeping, but hiding because she is scared of this:
what made it even worse was it was Mascot night so there was also:
and
and
and others
I took her out in the hall to ask her what was wrong and she told me she was afraid
ADDY: I WANT TO GO BYE BYE....I WANT TO GO WAIT IN THE CAR...*sobbing*
It was pretty sad, but we made her feel a little better because their were also princesses too:)
These are the princesses
Miss Utah singing the National Anthem...Addy missed out on this princess  because her eyes were covered.
by half-time she wasn't afraid anymore
and she also said she liked the bee and that she has the Bee movie:)
Jason and Sam both caught Army National Guard frisbees and they had this tape holding on a card to it.  So we made use out of it:)
Here is when she was really getting into it:
We lost:( but we had a awesome time except especially Addy...and that is all that matters is that we had a great time:)

Honey I Blew Up the Pizza!!!

By the title of this post you are probably thinking something like this happened:
That was actually last year...and it was Frito Pie and not Pizza
Here is what I'm really talking about:
I'll explain myself later on in this post...
Here is how our day went down:
Today Cameron and Lexie came to be babysat and so we went over to our friends house to play
Addy loves to Sing "Teeter Totter Bread and Water"  It's pretty funny that she is actually holding a piece of bread in her hand:)
The older kids playing Uno
Here Sam took a picture of me discarding my expired coupons
They were laughing at how many I have.
Yes that is sesame street on my pj's
Addy thinks i'm cool:)

Today the boys took a trip to Boondocks
Luckily they took more pictures than their one pic yesterday at the Nickel Cade

Bumper Boats
Mini Golf
Laser Tag
Go Karts
Tonight we went to my aunt and uncles anniversary party that their kids threw for them and then we went to dinner at Piccolo Brother's Pizza.  I had a Restaurant.com certificate that I purchased for $2 and you had to spend $35 and you get $25 off!
I love how Parker is crossing his legs:)
Look at the size of Sam's meal!!!!!!!!
Just kidding! It was for all of us, but isn't this thing huge!!!!?????
Just so you can get an idea how big it is...here it is in reference to Parker:)
