HE IS WE

Last Wednesday Erin invited me to go with her to the 99.5 radio station.  She won tickets to see the band, HE IS WE and have free lunch!  If you arent familiar with them, here is one of their more popular songs that you have probably heard before.

It was a lot of fun! Thanks Erin!...and special thanks to Ryan for watching Addy for me:)

Wedding Weekend..and other adventures!

After only 2 weeks, we got to go back to visit fam again! This time for my cousin Luke's wedding!  We left Thursday afternoon and got to my parents house that evening:)  The next morning, Jason, Cody, Erin and I went to the Cindercone Trail that leads to an inactive volcano!

The Goal...get to the top of that!

Can we do it???

Here we go!

On the trail

At the Top!

After we made it to the top we took another path down that led us to this tree house!

It also took us back through all these rocks

They look lost, but are just pondering the beauty of the outdoors;)

We did it!

My sister Stephanie is so talented!  She made our cousins wedding cake!

The finished product!

That night we went to Kylee's wedding shower!  Addy and Lexie (my cousin's daughter) were so happy to see eachother!  They had a ton of fun games at the shower.  One including getting into groups and making wedding veils.  The bride would then choose which one was her fav and wear it for the rest of the night.  My group was my Mom and Sisters and Cousin Teresa.

Gwen Modeling our Veil for us!

All the veils!

She picked ours!  All of them were so good!
The Cody and Jason took Luke out to dinner that night while the girls were at the shower.
The next day was the wedding!  I didn't take my camera that day unfortunatly, but it was a great time and we are very happy for the bride and groom!!

Sunday we came back home...Here is our nephew Parker Chillaxin!

No time for a siesta! It's time to fiesta!

We had a fun Cinco De Mayo party at our house with our family. Most of them anyway...sadly not all of them could come.
We had some good food...

....Good Company....

(Jason dressed up for the occasion:) lol..he actually was just getting ready to go do something for his church calling.)

...and fun entertainment!

Addy wore her dress that our cousin's daughter Paige gave her that is from Mexico. She also gave her some maraccas that we decorated with!  Besides the yummy tacos and chips we had some Mexican Jumping beans (jelly beans!)...Jason also made an awesome drink he learned to make on his mission!  Thanks to Pandora we had some cool music! All that was missing was the rest of our fam...and a pinata:)

Easter Part Two!

Finally Part Two of our Easter Celebrations...including Easter Day itself!  We decided to wake up bright and early on the previous Friday @ 4am and left by 4:30 to go to my parents house.  We wanted to be there for most the day to have as much time as we could that weekend to spend with fam.  They had no idea we were going to be there so early.  They had just eaten breakfast and were about to go on a walk when there was a knock at their door.  My dad answered and there were doughnuts on their front porch.  He picked them up and shut the door.  Then we went and knocked again and stayed this time:) They then were able to figure out who the doughnut phantoms were!  Cody and Erin had got there the previous day and Steph and Josh and Ryan Came later on.
Addy with one of her favorite people...Grandpa!

We went on a walk down to the park and to see the ducks!  Later that day we got pizza for lunch and went to a place called Gunlock Reservoir!
