Bow Making:)

Recently I decided I wanted to make some new hair bows for Addy.
I made her some little Cinderella ones for when we go to Disney Land.
For Halloween, Addy wants to be the Pink Care Bear...Cheer Bear (the one with the rainbow on its tummy)  Also that is what kind of bday she wants.  I made this bow for her to wear on her bday and with her Care Bear costume.  Last year she was a penguin and I put bows in her hair and it was so cute so I wanted to do something like that with he Care Bear costume.
These ones were so fun to make.  The funny thing is that whenever I made one they would look totally different.  Ex. The purple petals faced upwards and the blue ones faced down.
Here is the one I made Lexie
I made this bow for Disney Land also.
Anyway, just wanted to share some of what I have been doing lately.  Its been a lot of fun...and Addys hair is getting so long now and needing some cute bows:)

CO-US-IN-S!

I made this for Addy's room to display her and her cousins.  We are so excited because one of them gets to come visit us next week and one at the end of July.  Both of them live back East so we don't get to see them as often as we would like...and her other cutie cousin lives near us so we are lucky to get to see him a lot...tomorrow actually:)

The Winner Is....

A while back I asked for your help to decide which picture I should have printed that I edited.  That post is HERE.  Well, here was the winner that most people chose:
Thank you for your help in deciding!!

Fun Gift Ideas

During Father's Day my parents were out of town so we are going to celebrate tomorrow with Sunday dinner.  Tonight though, Jason and I are going to take my parents out to dinner and Ice cream as part of my dad's Father's Day gift.  Even though we are taking him to dinner we wanted to do a little something more. Some of these ideas I found on eighteen25.blogspot.com HERE.  They actually did this idea for teacher appreciation, but you could incorperate it for anything you want...which I did with Father's Day.

I edited the picture on picnik.com to say "Cool...Just Like My Grandpa" (To go in his office at work). Then I thought it would be fun to put this Nivea Mens "Cool" Body Wash with it.  The Sweedish fish say "You are O"fish"ally the best dad ever!"  The A&W says, "My Grandpa is AW-some."  The Chocolates say,"We love you a (Choc)-lot"...That one is a little different then the chocolate they put on their site.  Their's says "You Deserve Chocolate"

My Vinyl Lettering Obsession!

Lately I have been really into the vinyl lettering.  It started when I saw a quote I wanted on my wall.

I custom ordered this off of Etsy.  If you have a saying you want on your wall I really recommend THIS seller.  It was inexpensive, great quality and FAST!

Then last night at Enrichment AKA Relief Society Meeting... I made this!

Well, Today I was at JoAnns Craft store and found this on clearance for $2.97! It is perfect in Addy's room!
There were a ton of different ones on clearance.  I also got a set of 16 vinyl keys that was also on clearance.  Here is what I did with one of them.  This one is for Erin's room.   I am going to make a bigger one for our kitchen that I will post when I make it.

A "Change"

I decorated our change jar with an idea I got HERE.  It was actually for a candy jar.  I thought it was super funny, but it made me think to do a similar thing to our change jar:)  I had fun making it and it definitly adds some humor!

(Thanks to Eighteen25.blogspot.com for the idea!)

Feeling Crafty!

One of my favorite sites is howdoesshe.com.  The other day when I was looking at their site, I came across this:

HERE is the link
I think that it is soooo cute!  They gave some instructions to make it and I wanted to try it.  Here is the one I made:
Yeah, I'm realizing that it doesn't quite look the same, but I was still happy with the outcome.  I think I might try again and make another one though.  I think mine is just bigger and some of the pieces are turned to the side and theirs is smaller pieces facing upward:)
When I was making it I had my sister in mind to give it to.

I think it will look really cute with this outfit of hers!  That is what I based the colors off of!
Have you been in a crafty mood lately?  What did you decide to make?:)

America's Got Talent...His name is Ryan:)

I bought some cute cards a while ago
Here is what they look like:
They came in all different colors.  Our room is red, purple and brown and I thought the red and the purple one would be awesome to somehow be crafty and display them in our room.  Well, Jason had the idea to have a picture of us like this somehow displayed with them....Me knowing what a talented brother I have, asked Ryan to create this for me. (Both my bros are talented:) Here is what he did:

Instead of using the cards with this in a collage of some sort like I was origionally thinking, I think I will have this one printed on canvas and have it sitting alone without the others.  He did such a great job huh?  My sisters and I really do look a like don't we?  It looks like Jason is kissing Steph in this picture! LOL.

Here is some more of Ryan's talented work:)

Good Job Ry!
