JASON'S 30th BDAY!!!!

It was this little guys birthday on Oct 15th!
NO...this isn't Brian:) Pay attention people...The title to this post is Jason's 30th bday:) Doesn't he look so much like Brian though?...I guess I should say Brian looks like him:) Here are a couple other of my fav little kid pictures of Jason although all of them are so cute.

And he is just as cute now:)

----------------------------Flash Foward to now-----------------
Here is Brian holding the markers as we are making things for Jason's bday!

I found this cute idea on pinterest! It is a massage shirt! It was Addy's gift to him so I let her do some too:) This is the back of the shirt so Jason can lay down and Addy can drive the cars on his back:)

Thanks to all our family and friends for helping me out with this part of Jason's birthday. Jason really likes to get the mail...because...well..mail is awesome! So I decided to ask people to write their favorite memories or just kind words to Jason and then I put them all in envelopes and put them in the mailbox for him to get when he got home.  He really enjoyed them and what people had to share.  I was trying to get at least 30 but got more! I drew pretend stamps and if I didn't know the persons address I just made it up like 1234 balloon street etc...

Another thing Jason had said before that he had always wanted to have a big check...like the ones you would get if you won a golf tournament.  Well, I did some reasearch on how to buy a big check, but since the bank told me that those aren't really legit and that the big ones are just for show and then they write a small check too that is the actually one being cashed..I decided to just make one of my own! It would have been awesome to take a humungo (awesome word usage) check to the bank don't you think?, but he still loved it! I made it for the amount of a Kindle Fire HD because he had been talking about wanting one.  I ended up already buying the kindle though because I wanted to have it on his bday instead of saying heres the money go get it.  So when I gave him the check I told him I already spent it:) Funny thing is I thought I was being so sneaky! I changed our email that is linked to our amazon account so that they wouldn't send him and email saying that it was purchased, but one day he was looking at the kindle online and it said "You've purchased this item" ha ha. He was good at being surprised about it at the time though! The poster, Addy and our nephew Parker designed and then we taped girl scout candy bars that Jason had been eying at the store on them.  Sad part is they were out of season so I bought them for a bit more on Ebay...after the fact we found them on clearance at Walgreens...it made me wanna go buy them and sell them for more on ebay! lol. Addy also picked out a tie for Jason, we got him a newspaper subscription and Addison gave him Oreo icing.  The reason for that is because Addy and Jason always ALWAYS eat the icing out of oreos and put them back in the bag so why not just give him just the icing?:)  The other thing in the pic is in the picture below.
Looks like a bed right? well...open it up and you get...

BREAKFAST IN BED!! AKA Reeses Pieces, white chocolate and pretzels!
I didn't even have to wake up before him to give him breakfast in bed...in fact I gave him breakfast in bed when we visited him at work:) YES breakfast in bed at work...POSSIBLE!

That night we went to dinner with some family to Buffalo Wild Wings!

Don't go to a restaurant on Monday night Football when they show the games on TV's there...Be prepare to be fed an hour or more later! It was fun visiting though while we waited.

Addy would not sit still and kept making crazy faces, then I finially got a SUPER GOOD SITTING STILL ONE and then later when I went to delete the crazy ones...I accidently deleted that one! Looking back though, these ones are priceless!

Cookie M&M cake! Also, compliments of Pinterest:)

HAPPY 30TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brian's Blessing Day and Milestones!!

On September 2nd our sweet little baby boy was blessed. It was a fantastic and wonderful day spent with our family and friends:) The preparation was a little rough though. Why on earth we decided to do bathroom remodeling right up to the day before is in question, but it ended up working out just fine....as long as you didn't want to wash your hands after you go to the bathroom:0) Just kidding! Even though you couldn't use the bathroom sink the tub was available for washing...ha ha. We are grateful for help from family and friends watching kids, helping with food and other preparations for the blessing day, and also, helping with the bathroom.
Here is the not quite finished product.  You cant see the floor in this pic, but we did that too.  We still have to do something about the tub, do some painting touch ups, ceiling touch ups, and the pull out drawers in the cabinet not pictured, but we expect to finish start doing those soon.

Brian's blessing day was such a great memorable day! It was so neat to have his Daddy give him a special blessing. Jason and I also had the opportunity to bear our testimonies.  Jason went first and I felt the spirit so strong and was crying before I even got up to share mine because of the things he shared:) I am so grateful to have such a wonderful family. After sacrament meeting, we had some family and friends over for breakfast.  Our sacrament is at 9 so we decided to go with breakfast foods because it was still so early, but easy stuff like fruits, doughnuts, muffins etc..
Note to self: while in a rush to get to church, do not forget a bottle or binky!
This guy always has a happiness about him....even when he is crying (like right now as I blog) he is smiling while he is doing it:)

Brian with his Grammy! That is what we started calling her and I really like it so I'm going to keep doing it...and Grandpa now = Grampy. I had a friend that growing up that calls her granparents that too and I think it's cute:)

Vacation Vacation!

In July, some of our family from back East came to visit.  It was fun that they got to see Brian so soon after he was born.  Too bad the rest of them weren't able to come.  Thank goodness for facebook and blogs though so we can post lots of pictures for them. The title of my post is because we went on vacation while our fam was here on vacation! We went to my parents house and also Jason went to Las Vegas with them:)
While they were here Brian turned 1 Month old!!

Annette with Brian

Chris with Brian

Sam with Brian

Brians first movie was Spiderman! We went while they were here and Addy wore her spidergirl costume!
Infact she didn't want to take the costume off because she wore it to dinner too! Here we all are at the Anazazi Steak house!

Brian and I!

One of the days Jason, Chris and Sam went to Zions to hike!
The girls stayed home and shopped and went to lunch:)

One day we went to the Fiesta fun Center

Go Carts!

It was so hot we didn't mind getting wet...we went once before we left too just to get cool again!

We had fun there playing mini golf!

One of Addy's best friends was there visiting her Nana! She was so excited to see Lexie (my cousin's daughter). Here they are polishing off the cake crumbs!

The adults all played a fun game of Pounce..we switched it up a little and the losing team each round had to do add an ingredient for the cake we were making. After there wasn't any ingredients left to add, they had to do other things.  This is us trying to get Chris to sing for us!

My cousin Luke holding his cutie Hannah and his wife Kylee holding Brian.  Hannah is just a few weeks older than Brian.

My Mom and Dad on a team:)

The losing team this round had to get us all drinks!

One of the nights some of them went to see Hairspray at the Tuacahn Amphitheatere!
One of the other nights a few of us went to another play called Spelling Bee! It was way cute.

The fam was flying out of Vegas and so Jason went to take them the day before they left.  They did the 24 all you can eat buffet of buffets...he took a picture of each plate and sent it to me.  This is at the Paris buffet.

Here is what else Jason did while he was away:) lol..this is at the wax museum!
Thanks for coming Fam! We had fun with you all (like always!)..and thanks for letting us all stay at your house Dad and Mom!
