Easter Part Two!

Finally Part Two of our Easter Celebrations...including Easter Day itself!  We decided to wake up bright and early on the previous Friday @ 4am and left by 4:30 to go to my parents house.  We wanted to be there for most the day to have as much time as we could that weekend to spend with fam.  They had no idea we were going to be there so early.  They had just eaten breakfast and were about to go on a walk when there was a knock at their door.  My dad answered and there were doughnuts on their front porch.  He picked them up and shut the door.  Then we went and knocked again and stayed this time:) They then were able to figure out who the doughnut phantoms were!  Cody and Erin had got there the previous day and Steph and Josh and Ryan Came later on.

We went on a walk down to the park and to see the ducks!  Later that day we got pizza for lunch and went to a place called Gunlock Reservoir!

Then they put together an easter Egg hunt for the kids! Thank you!...also thanks Em! I know you contributed to it too! The next pictures are of the annual Easter Goat Races!!!  Sound Weird??? Well, our cousin Hayden is from Tabago and there to celebrate easter they race real goats! So the tradition has been added to our family, but with cut out goats we race with!

Our parents had an Easter Egg hunt that day in the house for all us kids and gave us some awesome easter gifts! Thanks Dad and Mom! It was fun!

Dinner at my parents house with extended fam and also my Mom's friend and her hubby.  Sadly after that we had to make the trip back home, but we were able to make a lot of fun memories!

Back home Jason shared his Easter tradition with Addy.  Drinking milk out of a hallow chocolate easter bunny!

EGG-CELLENT EASTER SEASON

We have had a great Easter season with much more fun to come!  On Friday night, after delicious Chinese that Cody brought us, we decorated Easter Eggs!

The next morning our ward had an Easter breakfast and did an Easter Egg hunt afterwards.

After that we headed up to Toys R Us where they did a fun little hunt too! 

Yesterday my cousin Nanette and I made some fun cupcakes:) ...Part 2 of Easter still to come!  Have a great Easter everyone!

  

6, 5, 3.5

My hubby and I have now known eachother for 6 years.  We met April 8, 2005 when I went to visit my sister at work...which is the same place he worked:)  Up in the lunch room Steph and I were eating and he came in and told me I looked like a girl that he knew..I pretended I was her...he asked why I never answer his calls...I said I got a new number:)  After talking and him telling me he likes my name, my sister said, "If you like her name so much why don't you ask her on a date." :) So he did and told me he would have to get my new number!

And so the next night we went on our first date! We went on a double with his friend.  We went and saw the movie "Sahara" then we went to Baskin Robbins to get Ice cream and watch the ducks at the pond.  Then Jasons friends said goodbye and it was down to just us.  We went to a Carnival that was by the mall and had a lot of fun...it led us to this moment in time 6 years later:) 

Our wedding Anniversary was on Jan 5th!  We have now been married for 5 years!  Let me tell ya a little story about that:)

One morning I woke up and couldn't find my wedding ring on my nightstand where I put it.  Addy had come into our room and was in our bed with us.  I asked her about it and she said she had it, but not to worry because we'd find it...We couldn't find it though. Found out a couple days later that she was just really good at keeping secrets for her daddy! When he woke me up he proposed to me for the 2nd time with a bigger diamond in my ring:) It was so sweet. I'm really glad that he gave it to me early too because I was starting to get worried! 

I am so grateful for my wonderful husband and our cute little Addy.  I am really blessed! I'm glad to be with them forever! They bring so much joy to my life!

Ashley's Bday Celebration!

Okay so now I am actually 26 yrs and 1 month because my bday is the 12th of March... so this post is a little late, but here it is!

On my Birthday we went to the movie "Gnomeo and Juliet" with my fam minus my brothers because they weren't in town and plus my sister's boyfriend Cody. It was a cute movie. Addy added it to the list of the movies she wants to own. Right now as I look up a picture of it she said, "I want that movie...I also want a Gnomeo and Juliet Snuggie and Toy:)" lol

Later that day our friend Carl came with us to Ikea!  We love that place!

The following Thursday for a continued Bday, Jason took me to Park City and we stayed overnight.  We had fun shopping at the outlets and we went out to eat at 501 on Main.  After we went swimming at our hotel.  The following day we went to a hotel in West Valley that had an awesome indoor swim park. Our Cousin's Jared and Kristi and their kids came to swim and play games as well as Cody and Erin.  Steph and Josh watched Addy the previous night overnight and so they came too with her and parker.  Steph and Josh slept over that night with us.  It was a great bday!

Sparks Poseidon Rackham

Sparks Poseidon Rackham aka Mans Best Friend passed away on March 14, 2011:(  He truely was mans best friend as Jason always said he was his best friend.  Whenever I said "What about me?" he would tell me I could be his best "human friend" lol.  Sparks died at the old age of 16. Times that by 7 and that makes him 112 dog years!

When Jason and I were dating I had asked Jason's Dad if he would like anything from McDonalds.  He didn't, but said that Sparks would like 2 hamburgers with nothing on it:)  Another time Richard (Jason's Dad) had taken him through a drive through and he asked for a cup to put the carton of milk in he ordered.  When the waitress asked why she couldn't just give him a straw, Richard replied, "Because my dog can't drink through a straw!"  The day Sparks died my sister brought us some food and brought Jason 2 hamburgers with nothing on it.  It was really sweet of her. 

We will miss that doggie who's favorite food is pop tarts!  No really, that is how I got him to warm up to me when Jason and I were first married:)  A trail of poptarts from the yard to the house was a great way to get him to come in for the girl who just moved in. From the sounds of my post its like we never bought him dog food:) But we did:)

Mommy/Daughter Date

Wow. It has been a long time since I have blogged! I have lots to catch up on.  However, they probably won't be in order because I still need to get some pictures off other peoples cameras:)  I thought a good place to start would be mine and Addy's mommy/daughter date:)  It was spontaneos when we decided to go out for some fun together.  Jason had to go to school and work sadly so didn't get to come with us.

First we wanted to go find a Merry-Go-Round because Addy loves them, so we went to the arcade where I knew they had one.  As soon as it started she started crying and wanted off.  She has even been on that one before so I don't know what changed.

 So instead we decided to play some games and win some tickets!  Addy did a great job on this one where you have to hit the top button and the ball comes down and lands in a hole that is worth a certain amount of tickets.  The first time she won 10 tickets and the second time she won 25!

 After that we went to Daddy's work to put a note on his car.  When we got there he came outside:) So we talked to him...and then still left him a note:)

Then we went shopping around for a gift for my sister Erin's bday (She turned 21 on Mar 29th.)  After we went to Taco Bell which is Addy's favorite fast food resteraunt:)  When we got home we fingerpainted with Erin and her boyfriend, Cody.
