The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!...Full of Surprises!

Jason and Addy setting up the tree!

Jason and Addy had a Daddy Daughter date one night while I was at work and made a gingerbread house:)

Now for the surprises!!!.....on Tuesday I was out Christmas shopping when Jason asked me to come home.  When I got there...MY MOM WAS THERE! (My dad was too but at work!) To set you up to tell you why this is such a surprise...my parents have another house down south and they are trying to sell their house here. They were spending Christmas there, but Jason and them have been planning for a while that they would really surprise their kids and grandkids and come here for Christmas! It was an awesome surprise!

The next surprise is for Addy! She was was asleep when they got here, but our sister and neice are visiting from Massachussetts and we kept it from Addy! She is so happy to be with them:) Here are her and Lauren sharing her bed:) They came on Thurs night.

Friday we rode the train down to see the lights at Temple Square and eat dinner at Crown Burger!!

It was a wonderful evening! There still is one more surprise we had for Jackie and Lauren but I will get to that on my next post!!!  Hope you all are having a fantastic Christmas season!!

Da Da Da Da Da Da Da (to the tune of the Graduation Song):)

Wait for it...........................

JASON IS NOW A GRADUATE OF WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY! HE NOW HAS A BACHELORS DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING! OUR BRO IN LAW CODY ALSO GRADUATED THAT DAY!

WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOUR EFFORTS AND ALL YOUR HARD WORK YOU DO TO PROVIDE FOR OUR FAMILY! WE LOVE YOU JASON!!

Thankfulness and Turkey Day!

I know we took more pictures than this on Thanksgiving, but this is all I can find! We had a great day though! Jason made this wonderful meal for Addy and I! That night we had Steph, Josh and Parker, Erin and Cody, Luke and Kylee, and Carl over for dessert! Yummy red velvet cheesecake, Pie, Butterfinger balls, pumpkin cheesecake, Peanut butter bars and sparkling cider were on the menu for dessert and I tried all of them:) he he. We also played Karaoke and had lots of participation! It was so fun! I am so thankful for my wonderful family and friends! I am grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life and for the knowledge of our Saviors love! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Wonder Addy to the rescue!!!

Not that it is even near Halloween anymore, but playing catch up on our blog:) Here is was our little cutie wanted to be for Halloween this year:) She has also worn its several times since then she loves it so much:) We had a fun Halloween and the weekend before we went to our ward trunk or treat:) Addy placed as one of the cutest costumes and got a bag full of goodies! It was so much fun to see her walking around in the costume parade! We also carved pumpkins! I attempted to do the New England Patriots logo, but it didn't go to well..luckily there is an invention called toothpicks to help save the day a little! The day of Halloween we went to our Sisters Families house and had a fun party! She did such a great job decorating and planning some fun games and prizes! What did you dress up as for Halloween?

Addy is 4!!!

We had a wonderful Birthday celebration with our sweet little Addy Cakes:) Her birthday was way back in october and I did attempt to blog about it then, but the pics weren't cooperating, so I procrastinated since then:)Anyway, we started off her day with our family a few friends over for cake and ice cream! Here is her opening some gifts!
She wanted to have a Tangled Birthday

This is Addy with her friend Lilly:)

Her Cousin and Buddy Parker

The Birthday Boy!

This last Saturday, Jason celebrated his 29th Bday!  We had a wonderful day! For lunch I went and got take out Chinese food because that is what Jason felt like for lunch...Sorta felt like my bday too because that is my favorite food:) Then we got ready for a get together with some friends that night.  I took some pictures at the beginning of some of the food, but was having too much fun the rest of the time to think about picking up the camera! So here is what I have.
We decided to go with a Halloween theme.  I made:
The Devils Eggs (deviled eggs with red food coloring)
Monsterella sticks (mozzerella sticks)
Brains (meatballs)
vampire teeth (apples, peanut butter, marshmellows, candycorn)
ghost, pumpkin and bat droppings (oreo cream cheese balls)
earwax (q-tip with marshmellow on the end dipped in melted peanut butter chips)
vegetaghouls (vegetables)
Crypts n' salsa (chips and salsa)

Sadly I didn't get pics of anything else.  Other people brought yummy treats too and I would have loved to get a pic of the homemade rootbeer with dry ice our friend made (and another who helped her:)...we called it the witches brew:) We had a fun time and played a really fun game called Werewolves (kind of like mafia). Thanks to everyone who came and helped make Jason's day great! Also, thanks for the nice things that were given him by friends and fam that night and also to family that were sadly not able to be there that night:) You are very thoughtful.
One of our friends also brought a bday gift for Addy (her bday is THIS saturday) here is a pic of her with the SIX!!! pillow pets that they gave her! She is in heaven! Thanks you guys!  She has already named them awesome names!
Dolphin- Willa
Unicorn- Minda Lecca
Panda Bear- Polablackner
ladybug- blackareda
Dog-tinkerbell
bumblebee-silvermist:)
ha her names made me laugh so I wanted to write them down!

The next night my sisters and their families came for dinner (a delicious one that Jason made!) I know he doesn't like to make a big deal and have the center of attention so I didn't make him a cake the night before and we didn't sing to him.  But I couldn't resist and one of the brownies that our sis and bro in law gave him I decided this night to put a candle in it so at least as a fam we could sing to him.

Getting Parker to make the funny faces we were telling him to make:)
 Cody and Erin
Josh, Steph and Parker (going for the beer...apple beer that is).
